The Adult Services Division of the county board of MRDD is often called Greene Incorporated, or Greene Inc., the Adult not-for-profit organization.  Although there are legal differences between the Adult Services Division of MRDD and Greene Inc, for the most part the terms can be used interchangeably.

Greene Inc. provides extensive training and employment options for adults in Greene County with developmental disabilities. A person-centered approach to services is the focus of the organization.

A full range of services is offered for community employment including: individual placement, mobile work crews, and enclaves. Job coaching is available for all community employment options.

Greene Inc. offers a series of classes providing small group instructional opportunities tailored to consumer interest and desires.

Three (3) different PSC (Personal, Social, and Community) units providing program participants the opportunity to maximize individual self-sufficiency skills within a pre-vocational skill training area are offered.

For a more extensive understanding of Greene Inc. and the employment options it has available, please visit its web site at: www.GreeneInc.org
